Maurice Jones-Drew has a foot injury and will not play in Week 8 against Green Bay. He made an early exit against the Raiders this past Sunday, and was later seen with crutches wearing a walking boot.
Maurice Jones-Drew injury status boosts Rashad Jennings fantasy value
Maurice Jones-Drew will not play against the Packers this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rashad Jennings now takes over as the No. 1 running back for the Jaguars. He only managed 44 yards on 21 carries in Week 7, but he did find the end zone once and began making an impact in the receiving game as well.
Fantasy Impact: The news around Jones-Drew seems to indicate he will miss more than just one week, so Jennings should be picked up immediately in every league. Even though the Jaguars are a mess on offense, they will continue to pound the ball with Jennings and keep him involved on constant check-downs in the passing game.
Jennings will face a Packers defense that ranks 17th in the league against the run. Steven Jackson and Daryl Richardson both found room to run against Green Bay this past Sunday. Expect a solid fantasy performance out of Jennings in Week 8.
