New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks continues to progress, coach Tom Coughlin said on Monday. Nicks had 53 yards on five catches in Sunday's win over the Washington Redskins.
Hakeem Nicks progressing physically, good fantasy option for Week 8
New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (knee) continues to progress. We break down the fantasy implications.

Nicks, who was slowed earlier this season by foot and knee injuries, is not 100 percent but has started to practice on a regular basis. The Giants face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: Nicks is clearly getting better after playing in a second straight game on Sunday. He should be not be an injury risk heading into Week 8 against Dallas and will only help the Giants improve on offense.
Nicks is likely a solid No. 2 fantasy wide receiver for this week and could soon be back into the No. 1 receiver category if there are no setbacks. For now, fantasy owners should start him with confidence.
