Maurice Jones-Drew will be out multiple weeks for the Jacksonville Jaguars after suffering a sprained foot during last week's game against the Oakland Raiders, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. The injury will not require surgery, which means that the running back did not suffer a dreaded Lisfranc injury.
Maurice Jones-Drew injury: Fantasy value on hold for multiple weeks, according to reports
Maurice Jones-Drew will miss multiple weeks for the Jaguars due to a sprained foot, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rashad Jennings is expected to become the Jags' featured running back as long as Jones-Drew is sidelined. He was set to start in the beginning of the season with MJD joining the team late due to his holdout, but Jennings suffered a knee injury in the opener.
Fantasy Impact: Jennings is a top priority waiver pickup this week. If he is somehow still available, make every move you can to get him immediately. He has the potential to be a weekly fantasy starter if the Jaguars give him the same heavy workload as Jones-Drew.
Jones-Drew is obviously worth stashing on your bench until he can return to the team healthy. He should provide a nice boost as team gears up for fantasy playoffs.
