Adrian Peterson named NFC Offensive Player of the Week, fantasy owners look for more on Thursday
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson on Wednesday was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. We break down the fantasy implications.

It will be a quick turnaround for Peterson, who has been dealing with an ankle injury the past few weeks. He was held out of practice on Tuesday but coach Leslie Frazier said (via The Pioneer Press) that the team no longer needs to manage Peterson’s workload in games.
Fantasy Impact: If the Vikings aren’t worried about Peterson, then there is no reason for fantasy owners to be concerned either. Minnesota relied heavily on Peterson in Week 7 against the Cardinals and that likely won’t change on Thursday.
Peterson remains a No. 1 fantasy option at running back.
