Ben Tate is dealing with a pulled hamstring, and is currently the biggest injury concern on the Houston Texans according to head coach Gary Kubiak, Nick Scurfield of the Texans' official site reports. Houston is on a bye this week, giving Tate an extra week to rest before playing the Buffalo Bills in Week 9.
Ben Tate dealing with hamstring injury, but could regain fantasy value over bye
Ben Tate is dealing with a pulled hamstring, and is currently the Texans’ biggest injury concern according to head coach Gary Kubiak. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tate was on the Texans' injury report last week with a toe injury, and did not appear to suffer an injury while rushing 10 times for 47 yards this past week against the Baltimore Ravens. There is no word yet on his status going forward.
Fantasy Impact: It is hard to tell just how hurt Tate really is when you consider that the Texans are relatively healthy at the moment as a whole. Best guess says that the running back will be fine for Week 9, though obviously you will want to keep an eye on injury reports to be sure.
Tate is still a necessary handcuff for Arian Foster owners, but he hasn't been able to produce much this season as a standalone fantasy option. Last season he was able to put up solid number even while Foster hogged the workload. Outside of a big Week 2 peformance, that simply hasn't happened this season.
