Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon has the option to have surgery on his injured foot but is hoping that isn't the choice he'll have to make. Garcon said (via The Washington Post) that he didn't want to think about surgery in part because it would end his season.
Pierre Garcon hoping to avoid surgery on injured foot: Fantasy implications
Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon (foot) has the choice of rest or surgery. We break down the fantasy implications.

Garcon has a torn ligament in his foot and has not played for the Redskins since Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons. The veteran wide receiver may still have to have surgery after the season. Coach Mike Shanahan has said that Garcon is being evaluated on a week-to-week basis.
Fantasy Impact: It may be time for fantasy owners to think about cutting Garcon loose. He hasn’t been much help this season and it doesn’t sound like he’s coming back anytime soon. Owners can probably afford to wait and see if he returns after the bye in Week 10 but there is some concern about how effective he will be.
Garcon’s value for this season just continues to sink.
