Julian Edelman ruled out, Welker fantasy value still holds

Julian Edelman (hand) missed practice all week and he has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Analysis: This will be Edelman's second game in a row that he will have missed. Edelman was a hot topic earlier this year when he started for the Patriots on offense, but that has fizzled out. Meanwhile, Wes Welker is back in the good graces of Brady and Co. In the last two games, he averaged 8.5 catches and 136 yards. While Aaron Hernandez being out is a factor, it looks like all that panic over Welker was a little over the top. He should be starting this week and Edelman is waiver-wire fodder.
