Robert Griffin III has a "mild concussion" after being hit in head during the third quarter of the Washington Redskins 24-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Redskins' team doctors said Griffin is "feeling better now," but after the hit Griffin didn't know the score of the game or quarter according to head coach Mike Shanahan. Griffin will have to pass concussion tests in order to resume playing.

Robert Griffin III suffered what was termed a “mild concussion” in the Washington Redskins Week 5 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: It sounds as if Griffin did not suffer a major concussion and stands a good chance of being able to play next week, but time will tell what lasting impact, if any, comes from the hit. Griffin finished the day going 10-for-15 for 91 yards with seven yards rushing, his worst fantasy performance of the season and the first game in which he has failed to record a touchdown either passing or rushing. He was replaced by Kirk Cousins who went 5-for-9 for 111 yards and a touchdown, but also threw two interceptions.
