Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub turned in an average performance on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets, throwing for 209 yards, a touchdown and an interception. The Jets kept the game closer than many expected, losing by a final score of 23-17. Arian Foster was the focal point of Houston's offense as usual, limiting the need for Schaub to air the ball out.
Matt Schaub delivers average fantasy performance on Monday Night Football
Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub turned in an average performance on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets, throwing for 209 yards, a touchdown and an interception. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Matt Schaub won’t be a consistently elite fantasy producer as long as Arian Foster is around. The Texans are well aware of where their strengths lie as an offense, so the days of Schaub airing it out each and every week appear to be over. He still posts decent numbers most weeks, though.
