Things remain quiet in terms of teams trading for Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams by Thursday's deal deadline, according to Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer. Williams has become the talk of several trade rumors now that he has dropped behind Jonathan Stewart in the Carolina backfield.
DeAngelo Williams trade talk very quiet: Fantasy implications
Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams is not expected to be traded by Thursday’s deadline. We break down the fantasy implications.

Williams, who had 11 carries for 33 yards in last weekend's loss to the Chicago Bears, on Wednesday dismissed talk about him being traded. The Panthers face the Washington Redskins in Week 9.
Fantasy Impact: Williams would seem the most likely running back to get traded on Thursday but it doesn’t sound like it’s going to happen. Fantasy owners have seen his value drop immensely in the last few weeks and not much will change barring an injury to Stewart.
Williams is a long-shot flex play against the Redskins this week and should not be in most fantasy lineups.
