Dwayne Allen fantasy prospects expected to rise with Coby Fleener sidelined
Colts rookie tight end Dwayne Allen is expected to see more targets with Coby Fleener sidelined for the next two weeks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Allen had a season (and career) high 56 yards receiving on four receptions last week thanks, in large part, to Fleener’s injury. He also played a season-high 63 snaps on offense.
Fantasy Impact: With Fleener out of the picture, Allen doesn't have to worry about splitting targets. He is currently the Colts' clear top tight end, with Weslye Saunders not expected to make much of an impact as a pass catcher.
Neither Fleener nor Allen has caught the ball as much as fantasy owners would like to see. Not only is there tough competition for attention, but struggles along the Colts’ offensive line has forced the rookies to stay in and block. While Allen could be a nice sleeper pickup even in standard leagues, just be aware that his potential is capped a bit due to struggles elsewhere on offense.
