Tim Tebow is unlikely to be traded by the New York Jets, with Thursday's 4:00 p.m. ET trade deadline fast approaching, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York. Rumors swirled Wednesday that the backup quarterback would be joining the Jacksonville Jaguars. Those rumors have been vehemently denied, however.

As the 4:00 p.m. ET trade deadline approaches, it appears that the New York Jets won’t be dealing Tim Tebow. We break down the fantasy implications.

It appears that Tebow will remain in New York for at least eight more games, despite being less involved in the Jets’ offense than what was initially expected when he signed with the team in the spring. Tebow has 32 yards passing, 78 yards rushing and no touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Tebow's fantasy value is still extremely low in every possible format. He is strictly Mark Sanchez' backup at this point, so unless your league is so deep that handcuffing Sanchez is a good idea, stay away from Tebow for now.
Whatever grand ideas the Jets once had of incorporating Tebow as a regular part of their offensive gameplan have fizzled out. Even if he does assume the Jets’ starting job down the line, Tebow would still be difficult to recommend as a starter in standard formats because of the Jets’ lack of weapons.
