New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles missed practice on Thursday because of a hand injury. Sproles had four carries for minus-1 yard in last weekend's loss to the Denver Broncos. He did, however, have seven catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.
Darren Sproles held out of practice, Week 9 fantasy value on hold
New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles (hand) did not practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

It's not yet clear how serious this injury is, as this was the first practice of the week ahead of Monday night's game with the Philadelphia Eagles. Sproles has not missed a game this season for the Saints.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners will have to monitor this as the week goes along. Sproles has not been an injury risk this season and there is no currently no reason to think he will miss this week’s game.
His rushing totals have been a concern but he has great value in PPR formats. He should be considered a No. 2 running back this week unless this injury turns out to be more serious.
