Mike Mularkey said on Monday that Maurice Jones-Drew will not play in Week 11 against the Texans. The Jaguars No. 1 running back said he expected to be back for Week 12, but his return timetable is still in question.
Maurice Jones-Drew ruled out for fantasy owners in Week 11
Maurice Jones-Drew will not play against the Texans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jones-Drew hasn’t started practicing yet, so he still has plenty of work to do to get back on the field.
Fantasy Impact: Reports say MJD has been riding a bicycle over the past week, and he is still wearing a walking boot. The fact that he has been ruled out on Monday doesn’t bode well for his status next week.
He will need to make huge strides going forward to be ready for next week’s game. Until then, Rashad Jennings remains the starter in Jacksonville. His value is low once again this week.
