New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning hasn't played his best in recent weeks but coach Tom Coughlin said Monday that he saw signs that Manning is improving. Manning passed for 215 yards and two interceptions in Sunday's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals but Coughlin said there were plays when he "zinged it in there."
Coach: Eli Manning showing signs of improvement, fantasy owners hopeful
New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Monday that he’s seeing signs of improvement from quarterback Eli Manning. We break down the fantasy implications.

Manning hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass since Week 7 and has thrown an interception in four straight games. The Giants have a bye in Week 11.
Fantasy Impact: The bye comes at a good time for Eli and his fantasy owners, who have been getting killed in recent weeks by the lack of touchdowns and numerous interceptions.
In fairness, Manning had a touchdown dropped on Sunday by Victor Cruz but neither the Giants nor fantasy owners get points for those. Manning is a fringe No. 1 fantasy starter when the Giants return in Week 12.
