Ben Roethlisberger will not play Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Baltimore Ravens, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports. Byron Leftwich will get the start instead, marking the first time he has started a game since 2009 when he was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ben Roethlisberger out, Byron Leftwich to start Sunday for Steelers: Fantasy implications.
Ben Roethlisberger will sit Week 11 due to a shoulder injury, according to reports. Byron Leftwich will start for the Steelers against the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.

Roethlisberger sprained his throwing shoulder after getting sandwiched between two defenders during the third quarter of Monday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Leftwich took over under center for most of the second half, and went 7-for-14 passing for 73 yards in bad weather conditions.
Fantasy Impact: There is no word yet on what Roethlisberger’s long-term status will be. Expect the Steelers to stay mum on the subject going forward. Fantasy owners will want to find a stop-gap solution they can be comfortable with for this week and beyond. Be sure to look at the remaining schedule closely when picking a backup off waivers.
Leftwich should not be among the first quarterbacks taken off waivers this week. He has not played much over the past three years, and Monday night’s performance didn’t inspire much confidence, even if there were extenuating circumstances.
