Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner had "no chance" on the majority of his runs in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints, according to offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter. He told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that there were too many defenders running free for Turner to run the ball effectively.

The Falcons failed several times to score in short-yardage situations against New Orleans, which prompted criticism of Turner and raised questions of whether Jacquizz Rodgers should get more carries. Koetter said the team needed to run the ball more efficiently, regardless of who was carrying it.
Fantasy Impact: This is hardly an endorsement of Turner but Koetter is correct when he said Turner had no chance on a number of carries. Turner has not been effective this season and Rodgers has made several big plays this season, including an 18-yard run in the fourth quarter that got the Falcons close to the end zone.
Turner remains a No. 2 fantasy running back in Week 11, while Rodgers is a low-end flex play with good value in keeper and dynasty leagues.
