Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is making progress, while Jason Avant has been ruled out for Sunday's game with the Washington Redskins, coach Andy Reid said on Wednesday. Maclin has been dealing with a lower back strain and Avant left last weekend's game against Dallas because of a hamstring injury.
Jeremy Maclin making progress, Jason Avant ruled out for Week 11: Fantasy implications
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (back) is said to be making progress, while Jason Avant (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

Maclin, who had eight catches for 93 yards and a touchdown against Dallas, said Wednesday that he expected to play against the Redskins.
Fantasy Impact: Maclin turned in a good effort in Week 10 and figures to get more chances if Nick Foles is the quarterback against the Redskins. Avant's absence, meanwhile, should mean more opportunities for Riley Cooper, who scored a touchdown against Dallas.
Maclin is a No. 2 option as a fantasy wide receiver for Week 11, while Cooper is not worth adding to fantasy rosters at this point.
