Minnesota Vikings quarterback appears to still have the support of general manager Rick Spielman. On Wednesday, Spielman said (via The Minneapolis Star Tribune) that he has 100 percent belief that Ponder will be the team's quarterback heading into the future.
Christian Ponder still has support of Vikings front office: Fantasy implications
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder still has the support of the team’s general manager. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ponder's status came into question after he threw for less than 70 yards twice in a three-game span. However, he passed for 221 yards and two touchdowns in last weekend's win over the Detroit Lions. The Vikings have a bye in Week 11.
Fantasy Impact: It’s a lot easier to make these comments after seeing Ponder throw for 221 yards instead of 63 or 58. The consensus has been that the Vikings don’t have a choice but to stick with Ponder because their backups aren’t viable options.
Ponder has had a few good fantasy outings this season but he should not be a starter for fantasy owners. Things get tough for the Vikings after the bye and Ponder will have to play well to keep the Vikings in the playoff race. He is, at best, a No. 2 fantasy quarterback moving forward.
