Darren McFadden injury: Fantasy value iffy after missed practice Wednesday
Darren McFadden missed practice for the Raiders on Wednesday due to the high ankle sprain he suffered in Week 9 against the Bills. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reports earlier in the week suggested that McFadden will likely sit out for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. With Mike Goodson also expected to sit, fullback Marcel Reece will likely handle most of the Raiders' touches out of the backfield once again.
Fantasy Impact: Until McFadden is back in practice, there is no way to gauge the timetable for his return. High ankle sprains are among the most frustrating injuries for athletes, due to their tendency to linger. Going forward, Reece has to be considered the running back to own out of the Raiders’ backfield.
Reece could be an excellent starting fantasy option this week, especially in PPR leagues. He had 48 yards rushing, and seven receptions for 56 yards receiving last week against the Baltimore Ravens. If the Raiders are forced to play from behind yet again, Reece will be very active in the passing game.
