San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith (concussion) has been cleared for non-contact drills and Adam Schefter added that it appears Smith is on track to start Monday night against the Bears. Smith was knocked out of San Francisco's Week 10 game against the Rams, with Colin Kaepernick coming in relief to lead the 49ers to a tie.
Alex Smith concussion: On track to start in Week 11, still no fantasy value
After being cleared for non-contact, Smith appears headed towards starting Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

On the other side of the field, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler looks doubtful with his own concussion.
Fantasy Take: Just when you think it’s safe to not worry about head injuries again, three major concussions pull you back in. This is very positive news for Smith though and the 49ers as they look to get another playoff bye week. In fantasy, he has little value, especially against the Bears defense.
This is going to be a low-scoring game and it’s possible there will be several turnovers.
