Wes Welker missed a second straight practice for the New England Patriots on Thursday, according to Christopher Price of WEEI.com. Welker appeared to roll his ankle late during last week's win over the Buffalo Bills.
Wes Welker misses 2nd straight practice, creating fantasy concerns
Wes Welker missed his second straight practice Thursday due to an ankle injury apparently suffered in Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.

It is unknown whether Welker aggravated his existing ankle problem, or suffered an entirely new injury. Two missed practices certainly casts a lot of doubt on his playing status, however. Friday's injury report will hopefully give a much better indication of Welker's chances of suiting up against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Keep a sharp eye out for any tidbit that might suggest that Welker plays this week. At the moment, it’s a very tight call. Knowing the Patriots, they will mark him as questionable Friday and put fantasy owners even more in the dark.
If Welker does play, he has a good matchup this week against a shaky (though improving) Colts defense. Just note that he is in a minor slump at the moment. Welker hasn’t topped 100 yards receiving or scored a touchdown in his last three games.
