The Mark Sanchez Circus took another bizarre turn on Thursday. New York Jets owner Woody Johnson told the Daily News that Sanchez is still the starter despite his immense struggles. "He's the starter. He's part of a team. He makes his contribution as do all three elements of the team. It's not about one player... It's 53 players. This is a team sport."
Mark Sanchez gets latest vote of confidence from Jets owner as fantasy owners shrug
The Jets seem content to go down with the ship, as owner Woody Johnson affirmed that Mark Sanchez is still the starter. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson also denied that the Tim Tebow trade was a gimmick to maximize profit, saying "My job is to win games. That's what my passion is. That's what I want to do. That's why I'm spending all this time in this organization. It's not to sell PSLs or to sell hot dogs."
Fantasy Impact: Keep telling yourself that, Woody. It’s obvious by now that the coaches never wanted Tebow and have no plans to use him. They would rather sink with the Sanchize than placate ESPN.
In case you haven’t noticed, Sanchez and Tebow still aren’t fantasy options. New York’s QB situation remains a complete trainwreck.
