Buffalo Bills RB Fred Jackson (concussion) is officially inactive for Thursday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins. Jackson was already ruled out earlier in the week, so this is just official confirmation. After leaving Sunday's game against the Patriots, there was no chance of him coming back on the short week.
Bills inactive report: Fred Jackson out with concussion, boosting C.J. Spiller’s fantasy value
Fred Jackson is inactive for TNF with a concussion, giving lots of opportunities to C.J. Spiller. We break down the fantasy implications.

C.J. Spiller will be the starter tonight, and is expected to get the majority of touches out of the backfield.
Fantasy Impact: As terrible as head injuries are, fantasy owners may consider this a blessing in disguise. Spiller has shown much more playmaking ability than Jackson, and could tee off against a Dolphins defense that got exposed by Tennessee.
Consider Spiller a solid RB2/flex play tonight. We’ll keep you updated on Jackson’s status next week to see if the Bills will stick with their inane timeshare at RB.
