ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have ruled out Michael Vick (concussion) for Week 11 against the Washington Redskins. Vick was knocked out of last Sunday's game by the Cowboys, and the Eagles have no timetable for his return--coach Andy Reid has stated that it's a "significant" concussion.
Michael Vick out with concussion--is Nick Foles a fantasy option?
The Eagles have confirmed that Michael Vick will not play this week, giving Nick Foles his first start in the NFL. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rookie Nick Foles will get the first start of his NFL career. He replaced Vick and went 22-of-32 for 219 yards, one TD and one INT.
Fantasy Impact: The team has been pretty vague on Vick’s return. I’ll throw on a tinfoil hat here and suggest that they may use his injury as a convenient excuse to see what they have in their third-round rookie. I’ll be surprised if Vick comes back any time soon.
Foles has a lot of promise and an appealing matchup against the Redskins porous defense, but a rookie making his first start is always going to be an iffy fantasy play. At this point, he has more value in Dynasty/keeper than standard re-draft leagues.
