Wes Welker returns to practice, fantasy status questionable
New England Patriots wide receiver returned to practice on Friday, but is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. We break down the fantasy implications.

Welker has had an ankle injury for a while, but he rolled his ankle late in the Patriots win over the Buffalo Bills, either aggravating his existing injury or creating a new one. The fact that Welker was able to practice on Friday is a good sign that he may be able to play on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Two missed practices is cause for concern, but the fact that Welker was out there on Friday should give his fantasy owners hope. Welker has not missed a game this season and has 66 receptions for 810 yards and two touchdowns.
It is okay to be optimistic with Welker after he practiced on Friday, but the safest course of action is to check back on Sunday. A 4:25 p.m. ET start time makes things slightly more risky.
