Ryan Mathews (neck) did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but was able to practice on a limited basis on Friday. He is questionable to face the Broncos and is a game-time decision.
Ryan Mathews Injury Update: Should fantasy owners have the guts to start him?
Ryan Mathews is questionable for Sunday. Questionable meaning his injury status and not being jusy questionable in general.

The Fresno State product has been one of the bigger disappointments on the year with 475 rushing yards and one total TD in his seven games. He still has a respectable 4.2 yards-per-carry average this year and it’s mostly been Norv Turner getting in his way.
Fantasy Impact: It has not been fun to own Mathews this year and his owners are going to be scratching their heads on whether or not they should take a chance on him. Norv Turner has given Jackie Battle more carries than anyone expected.
The fact of the matter is that the Broncos are 6-3 on a four-game winning streak thanks to their 30.1 points per game. San Diego should need Mathews play-making ability and we’d start him, but make sure you have an emergency option for the late game.
