Rice carried the ball 20 times for 40 yards. The Steelers fast, aggressive defense swarmed Rice and did not allow him to break tackles. Nevertheless, the Ravens escaped with the victory.
Fantasy Analysis: Ray Rice is a sure-fire must-start in fantasy leagues on a week to week basis. However, he does reside in the rough-and-tumble AFC North division. The Bengals and Steelers have tough front sevens, which accounts for 4 of their games in 2012.
This has and will continue to affect Rice’s fantasy value. Though, it is not enough reason to sit Rice. No. 27 remains a must start each week, so keep him in your lineup. Unfortunately there will be days like this.
