The Kansas City Chiefs are staring down a historically bad offense in 2013. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Chiefs are the first team since the 1929 Buffalo Bisons to not hold a single lead in their first eight games (their only win came in overtime).

That Bisons team folded after the '29 team. Some Chiefs fans may be begging for a similar fate after their latest dud, a 31-13 loss to the Chargers on Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact: What else needs to be said? This team is in complete freefall and there will almost certainly be a house cleaning in the front office and coaching staff. The fallout is also hurting the fantasy value of their few good players - Jamaal Charles was held to 39 yards before leaving with a head injury, while Dwayne Bowe has had inconsistent production with the QB circus.
Fantasy owners should stay patient with Charles. Bowe can produce if the matchup is right. Everyone else? Stay far away. On the other side of the coin, the Chiefs are a great matchup for whatever D/ST unit they’re playing.
