Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley is feeling more comfortable in the offense now that he's in his second week back with the team, coach Mike Shanahan said on Thursday. Cooley had no catches last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Chris Cooley feeling more comfortable with Redskins, Week 9 fantasy value remains low
Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley appears to be getting more comfortable in his second week back with the team. We break down the fantasy implications.

The team signed Cooley after Fred Davis was lost for the season with a ruptured Achilles tendon. Logan Paulsen has become the team's No. 1 tight end and it's not yet known if Cooley will play more on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners haven’t seen enough from Cooley to justify adding him to a roster but that could change as the season goes along. Cooley is a fan favorite and there could be a push for him to get more playing time.
Cooley is not a viable option for Week 9, while Paulsen is, at best, a No. 2 fantasy option at tight end.
