Brent Celek had just two receptions for 19 yards during the Eagles’ loss to the Panthers on Monday Night Football. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rookie quarterback Nick Foles passed for just 119 yards and no touchdowns in his second career start. Celek was much more effective in Foles' first start, catching five passes for 42 yards off eight targets last week against the Washington Redskins.
Fantasy Impact: The Eagles’ conservative gameplan should have benefited Celek, if anything. Young quarterbacks often turn to their tight end as a safety outlet. Celek had his worst fantasy outing of the season on Monday night, however, recording a season-low two receptions for the second time this season.
Celek was a relatively reliable low-end starter/backup with Michael Vick under center, and appeared to be on his way to occupying a similar role under Foles before Monday night's dud. It's hard to tell what to make of Celek's poor performance but, considering his lack of upside heading into the game, fantasy owners may as well start looking for another body to roll out as a TE1.
