Many NFL fans wept at the idea that Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis might miss the rest of the season with a torn triceps muscle, and therefore potentially ending his career, but we now realize how stupid it is to doubt Ray Lewis. Placed on injured reserve with the option to recall after six games, Lewis is eligible to return to practice on Thursday and could return to the field by Week 15 when Baltimore takes on Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
Ray Lewis injury update: Eligible to return to practice Thursday, could be back to playing by Week 15
The Ravens leader on defense was feared out for the year, but Lewis puts the fear in fear. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lewis has been using a hyberbaric chamber and platelet-rich plasma therapy in his effort to return as soon as possible, though coach John Harbaugh said “well just see how Ray does” in regards to when he actually returns.
Fantasy Take: The Ravens have won four straight games and held each opponent to twenty points or less with eight turnovers but there’s little doubt that Lewis is a key component of the team. They might be 4-1 without Lewis, but they were 5-1 with him and he recorded 57 tackles and a forced fumble in six starts.
With Terrell Suggs and Lewis back on the field together for the first time this season, Baltimore's defense could be as good as at any point in this year.
