Vikings tight end John Carlson (concussion) did not practice all week and he has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.
John Carlson Injury Update: Backup tight end out, Rudolph a fantasy option?
John Carlson is still dealing with a concussion and he is out for Sunday. Does Kyle Rudolph deserve consideration?

Carlson has just three catches on six targets for eight yards on the season. He could miss more time with this injury.
Fantasy Impact: Carlson probably wanted to face his old team, but it’s not going to happen. The league’s stringent concussion tests will make it tough for players to return a moment too soon. Obviously, a guy without a single fantasy point in standard leagues over the course of half a season doesn’t have value.
While we’re on the subject of Vikings tight ends, Kyle Rudolph might be able to get it going against the Seahawks. Seattle has two lock-down corners and the middle might be open as Rudolph may matchup with Will linebacker K.J. Wright.
