The Oakland Raiders host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Week 9 matchup at 4:05 ET. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Rookie Doug Martin has been on a tear recently, but his run blocking suffered a huge blow with Pro Bowler LG Carl Nicks going on IR. Josh Freeman tossed nine TDs in the last three games. Can he keep it up, or will he revert to his early-season struggles? Vincent Jackson is poised for a nice bounce back after being held to two catches in Minnesota. Dallas Clark has just 17 catches this year and his best days are behind him.
Oakland Raiders
Darren McFadden finally got going last week when OC Greg Knapp worked in more power-blocking schemes. It remains to be seen if he keeps it up or if Knapp goes back to his old habits, so DMC's projection is low this week. The Bucs have one of the worst pass defenses in the league, so Carson Palmer and Denarius Moore are primed to light them up. Moore has a TD in three straight games and has emerged as Palmer's clear No. 1 WR. Brandon Myers has low-end TE2 upside, but is efficient and reliable.
On the special teams side, ol’ Sebastian “Seabass” Janikowski just keeps trucking at age 34. Despite a nagging groin injury, he remains one of the most consistent fantasy kickers in the league.
