Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford completed 22 of 33 passes for 285 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Lions didn't really need much of Stafford's help Sunday, as they used four rushing TDs to build a 24-0 lead and put the game away by halftime. They won by a final score of 31-14.
Matthew Stafford has relatively quiet fantasy day in blowout win
Matthew Stafford didn’t throw any touchdowns as the Lions used the run game to put away Detroit. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: This is only Stafford's second game of the season where he didn't throw a TD, but he didn't have any picks and targeted Calvin Johnson heavily for a robust 8.6 YPA.
Stafford passed 10,000 career yards in the game, becoming the fastest QB since Kurt Warner to reach that milestone. He's been less explosive than fantasy owners would like this season, but is still a solid QB2 play as the Lions take on Minnesota next week.
