The Green Bay Packers confirmed Monday that WR Jordy Nelson has a sprained ankle, but coach Mike McCarthy doesn't think it's anything too serious. Thanks to some extremely fortunate timing, the Packers have a bye next week, giving Nelson two weeks to rest and heal it. McCarthy expects him to be just fine.
Jordy Nelson has sprained ankle, expects to make fantasy return in Week 11
The Packers confirmed that Jordy Nelson has a sprained ankle, but he should be fine after the Week 10 bye. We break down the fantasy implications.

Nelson has 40 catches for 532 yards and five TDs on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Most ankle sprains have a typical timetable of 1-2 weeks, so this is just perfect timing--at least as perfect as injuries can get, anyway.
Fantasy owners can bench Nelson for the bye and expect him to come back strong in Week 11. He'll be a nice WR2 play against the Lions' secondary.
