New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles (hand) was held out of practice on Thursday, the same report that Sproles had on Wednesday. In recovery from hand surgery, there have been wildly different reports on how long Sproles would be out, but this week would have been the absolute best case scenario.
Darren Sproles injury update: No Thursday practice harms Week 10 fantasy value
This would be an early return for the versatile back. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Saints are going to play it out this week and see what happens.
Fantasy Take: If he doesn't even get a limited practice in on Friday it seems highly unlikely that Sproles would play against the Falcons. While New Orleans would probably love to have him back as they try to climb back in the race, there's little reason to believe at this point that he'd be forced into action so quickly.
The Saints have looked good running the ball without him, and Pierre Thomas is still the back to own in the interim. He's still not more than a flex play, however.
