As a sometimes-replacement of Ryan Mathews in San Diego, Mike Tolbert scored 19 touchdowns on four yards per carry over the 2010-11 seasons. That's not what he is for the Panthers, having carried the ball just 20 times in eight games behind DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, and quarterback Cam Newton.
Mike Tolbert injury: Full practice signals Week 10 start, fantasy owners still looking elsewhere

Still, the Panthers would rather have him than not have him and after a full practice Thursday following a concussion in Week 9, he's expected to start at fullback against the Broncos on Sunday.
