Donald Brown was able to play after coming down to a game-time decision, and he managed to see just as much work as Vick Ballard in the backfield against the Jaguars. Brown received 14 carries for 42 yards while Ballard finished with 12 carries for 48 yards.
Vick Ballard and Donald Brown evenly split fantasy value for Week 10
Vick Ballard and Donald Brown shared the workload in the backfield against Jacksonville. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ballard also managed two receptions for 11 yards on the night. His counterpart didn’t record a single reception.
Fantasy Impact: The fact that Brown was able to play severely reduced Ballard's value for Week 10. It was believed the rookie would see the majority of the carries against a weak Jaguars run defense, but the Colts kept it even with both running backs suited up.
Jacksonville stopped Ballard about an inch away from the end zone early on. Both backs saw red zone work. As long as they’re healthy, this timeshare should continue to limit their individual value.
