Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints will be in unfamiliar territory on Sunday. They are expected to be home underdogs for the first time in nearly four years. The Saints, according to Jeff Duncan of the Times-Picayune, have been favored at home for 31 consecutive games including the playoffs. The last time the Saints were not favored at the Superdome was Dec. 28, 2008 against the Carolina Panthers.
Drew Brees, Saints home underdogs for first time since 2008: Fantasy implications
Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints are not favored at home for the first time since December of 2008. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brees and the Saints on Sunday face the undefeated Atlanta Falcons, who are led by quarterback and MVP candidate Matt Ryan. This season, Ryan has thrown for 2,360 yards and 17 touchdowns while leading Atlanta to an 8-0 start. Brees has thrown for 2,549 yards and 22 touchdowns but the Saints are 3-5.
Fantasy Impact: The streak of being home favorite is a testament to Brees and how good he has been since joining the Saints. Ryan is leading the more complete team on Sunday but that doesn’t mean Brees won’t do everything he can to keep the Saints in it.
Brees will have to throw and Ryan gets to face a terrible Saints defense. Both quarterbacks should be in fantasy lineups in Week 10.
