Drew Brees turns in 2nd straight substandard fantasy performance
Drew Brees went 26-for-43 passing for 354 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during the Saints’ loss to the Giants on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Brees has thrown one touchdown to seven interceptions over his last two games, after throwing three touchdown passes in three consecutive games. He has gone over 300 yards passing seven times this season.
Fantasy Impact: Brees was probably still pretty productive for fantasy owners because he put up a ton of yards. His struggles to find the end zone have kept him from being the elite quarterbacks everyone expects from the veteran. It'd be crazy to suggest that he be benched in any format, however. He has a nice potential bounce-back matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week.
