Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson suffered a grade 2 sprain of his MCL in the fourth quarter of the Bills 15-12 loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday and is likely done for the remainder of the season. Bills coach Chan Gailey said that Jackson is out at least two to three weeks, and with only three games remaining it will be hard for Jackson to get back on the field this year.
Fred Jackson’s fantasy season is over
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson is out at least two to three weeks with a knee injury, likely ending his season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson was hit with a helmet to his right knee and had to be carted to the locker room on Sunday. He has dealt with injuries multiple times this season, including an early season injury to the same knee. He has 437 yards and three touchdowns rushing on the season with 34 receptions for 217 yards and a touchdown receiving.
Fantasy Impact: Jackson had a bit of a disappointing season, getting surpassed by C.J. Spiller as the Bills top running back from a fantasy perspective. Spiller should see more touches in the Bills remaining games and become a strong fantasy option.
If you have Jackson on your roster you can feel confident replacing him with another player.
