Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III feels confident in his ability to play next week after spraining his knee in the Redskins 31-28 overtime victory over the Baltimore Ravens. After RG3's MRI came back showing no ligament damage he said, "I'll still be able to run and do those things if it's just a really bad bruise, and then if it's anything else, like I told coach, I'll fight through it and I'll be playing next week."
Robert Griffin III says he’ll play next week, fantasy status still in question
Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III said he’ll fight through his knee injury and play next week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ultimately RG3 will have to actually prove that he is capable of playing before he’ll be given the green light, but this is a good sign that he is at least going to try to test himself at practice this week.
Fantasy Impact: Stay tuned to see if Griffin is able to practice at all this week and what his status is for Week 15 against the Browns. It is clear that he wants to play, but coaches and trainers will have to decide if that is a good idea as well.
It’s too early to say if RG3 is a good play for Week 15 or not. Even if he is able to start, it’s likely his running ability won’t be at 100%.
