Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek suffered a concussion on the first play of the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Celek was hit hard after a one-yard reception and did not return to the game. The Eagles went on to win 23-21.
Brent Celek suffers concussion, fantasy status in doubt
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek left the game against the Buccaneers on Sunday after sustaining a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

Concussions have been a big problem for the Eagles offense this season. Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy are both still recovering from concussions they suffered earlier this season and now Celek only has three days to try to recover before the Eagles play the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact: Celek had been on the edge of being a viable fantasy option at tight end prior to this concussion. He has 51 receptions for 602 yards and one touchdown on the season, decent numbers, but nothing great.
If he doesn’t pass his concussion tests right away it is probably best to look for another option at tight end.
