New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden is officially active for Monday Night Football against the Houston Texans. It's the first game Bolden will suit up in nearly two months--he missed some time with a knee injury and was then hit with a four-game suspension for PED violations. The Patriots just activated him earlier on Monday.
Brandon Bolden active for MNF, but fantasy role is unclear
Brandon Bolden is active for the first time since Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bolden created a stir in the fantasy world after getting 234 yards, two TDs and 5.4 YPC playing part time.
Fantasy Impact: Bolden's time in the sun was very brief, however, and he's fallen way off the fantasy radar. With Stevan Ridley entrenched as the starter and Shane Vereen doing a fine job as the backup, there's no clear role in the offense for him anymore.
Bolden has shown flashes of brilliance and has some promise, but re-draft owners shouldn’t bother with him in the middle of the fantasy playoffs.
