Dez Bryant is still weighing whether or not to undergo season-ending surgery to repair a fractured left index figure, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

“Dez will be the ultimate decision-maker as to whether or not he wants to continue to try to play with a lot of protection or whether he should have surgery,” Jones said. “The reason for the surgery is because you could have life-lasting stiffness there.”
Fantasy Impact: Jones also indicated that Bryant is “chomping at the bit” to play, but there could be serious ramifications if he does. Expect a decision to come relatively soon, with injury reports to be released beginning Wednesday.
If Bryant plays, he should still be considered a starting fantasy option, though perhaps a more limited one. It's tough to argue with seven touchdown receptions over his last five games. If Bryant sits, Miles Austin should see a lot more targets and a big boost in his fantasy value. Jason Witten could turn into an even bigger red zone option, as well.
