C.J. Spiller will handle most of the Buffalo Bills' rushing load going forward, head coach Chan Gailey has confirmed. With Fred Jackson landing on injured reserve on Monday, Spiller will no longer be confined to a timeshare.
C.J. Spiller officially the unquestioned starter in Buffalo: Fantasy implications
C.J. Spiller is in a timeshare no longer. After Fred Jackson landed on injured reserve on Monday, Bills head coach Chan Gailey revealed that Spiller will hand the team’s rushing load with Tashard Choice serving a backup role. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gailey was asked whether Tashard Choice would see an increased role out of the Bills' backfield. The coach dismissed the idea that Choice could split time with Spiller in upcoming weeks.
“I think Tashard (Choice) is a very good back, but to me he’s not in Fred’s category. So there won’t be a lot of sharing of duties. C.J. will have to take a big part of the load now.”
Fantasy Impact: It’s unfortunate that Jackson had to suffer an injury, but Spiller owners have to feel somewhat relieved that the running back will get a chance to shine on his own. Spiller is averaging a stellar 6.6 yards per carry on the year, and has been spectacular this season despite having his touches capped.
Spiller has a good matchup this week against a Seattle Seahawks defense giving up 4.4 yards per carry on the season. He should be in your starting fantasy lineup.
