Deion Branch is a member of the New England Patriots yet again after re-signing with the team officially on Wednesday. Branch will replace Donte Stallworth, who was placed on injured reserve Tuesday after just one week with the squad.
Deion Branch re-signs with the Patriots: Fantasy implications
Deion Branch has re-signed with the New England Patriots to replace the injured Donte Stallworth. We break down the fantasy implications.

Branch has been cut and re-signed twice now by the Patriots this year. He failed to make the final cut out of training camp, but came back in mid September and managed to stay on the roster through mid November, at which point he was waived to make room for Greg Salas off the practice squad. On the year, Branch has nine receptions for 80 yards.
Fantasy Impact: You should not go rushing out to pick Branch off of waivers, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a chance to produce. With Stallworth, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski all out, the Pats don't have their usual productive crops of pass catchers. We saw Stallworth make an impact Monday night with 61-yard touchdown reception despite being on the team for less than a week.
Branch is very familiar with the offense and should see playing time. If you’re in your fantasy league playoff finals next week, you should have better options available. If you’re just messing around in the consolation ladder, then Branch could be worth a flyer just to prove how smart you are.
