Rod Streater is performing much better as a rookie with the Oakland Raiders than many could have predicted when he was signed as an undrafted free agent in April. He is even producing more than he ever did in college, according to Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Rod Streater on fantasy upswing with Raiders
Rod Streater is performing better as a rookie for the Raiders than many could have predicted. We break down the fantasy implications.

#Raiders rookie Rod Streater has 96- and 100-yard receiving games last two weeks — never had more than 86 in a game at Temple

Streater now has 28 receptions for 429 yards and three touchdowns on the season. He led the Raiders with seven targets last week against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Impact: Denarius Moore has been a big disappointment for the last month, culminating in a benching in Week 13. Darrius Heyward-Bey had a big outing last week, but has been too inconsistent to recommend as a starting fantasy option. At this point, Streater may legitimately be the best fantasy receiver on the Raiders right now.
Streater is worth targeting, and potentially starting as a Flex option this week against a bad Kansas City Chiefs secondary. He hasn't produced enough to call him a must-start, but his gradually increasing role suggests that he could have a solid run over the remaining weeks of the season.
