Rob Gronkowski was absent from practice Thursday for the New England Patriots as he recovers from a broken forearm. He was the only member of the Patriots who did not suit up, according to Erik Scalavino of Patriots.com.
Rob Gronkowski the only Patriots absent Thursday: Fantasy implications
Rob Gronkowski was the only member of the New England Patriots absent from Thursday’s practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gronkowski has missed three straight games, and may not be able to return until the regular season finale. He has 53 receptions for 748 yards and 10 touchdowns in 10 games played this season.
Fantasy Impact: You can keep an eye on practice reports anyway, but there's a very good chance that Gronkowski will miss Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. As a result, Aaron Hernandez owners should feel safe starting the tight end without hesitation. He had two touchdown receptions last week against the Houston Texans.
Gronkowski is worth hanging on to in case his status changes, but as of now it looks like his fantasy season may be over.
